释义	法律分析：父亲欠款不还的，只有在孩子继承了父亲遗产的情况下孩子才需要承担此债务;如果父亲并未去世，或者孩子放弃继承的，孩子是不需要替父亲承担债务的。如果父亲未去世的，债务由父亲承担;如果孩子放弃继承的，则债务用父亲的遗产来偿还，或者由其他继承了遗产的继承人偿还。法律依据：《民法典》第一千一百六十一条,继承人以所得遗产实际价值为限清偿被继承人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务。超过遗产实际价值部分，继承人自愿偿还的不在此限。继承人放弃继承的，对被继承人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务可以不负清偿责任。
