释义	法律分析: 将军分上将、中将和少将。上将、中将和少将为军衔，一般来讲，大将是国家副职；中将是大军区，部，省，兵团的正副职，省部级；少将是正，副军级，正厅，正地级。但这不是绝对的对应关系，因为在中央军委与省军区之间还有大军区。所以军衔与军长、司令、国防部长等行政职务并无绝对必然的对应关系。法律依据: 《全国人民代表大会常务委员会关于修改的决定》十七、增加一条，作为第二十四条：“担任师、军、大军区级职务的军官，正职和副职平时任职的最高年限分别为十年。任职满最高年限的，应当免去现任职务。”
