释义	法律分析：羁押是指刑事案件被告经检察官或法官合法传唤、拘提到案、并逮捕后，法院认为被告犯罪嫌疑重大，而且有事实足认其有湮灭证据、串供、逃亡等之虞时，为保全证据，防止逃亡，确保刑事诉讼及刑罚执行，法院裁定将被告收容至特定处所，是限制其人身自由的刑事处分。法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑事诉讼法》第九十三条犯罪嫌疑人、被告人被逮捕后，人民检察院仍应当对羁押的必要性进行审查。对不需要继续羁押的，应当建议予以释放或者变更强制措施。有关机关应当在十日以内将处理情况通知人民检察院。
