要让欠条具有法律效应，只要确定其具有以下条件即可：签订欠条的行为人具有相应的民事行为能力，签订的行为是其真实意思表示，欠条的内容不违反法律规定也不违背公序良俗。当事人签订了欠条之后就应当根据其中约定的内容履行义务，否则就要承担违约责任。《中华人民共和国民法典》第一百四十三条
具备下列条件的民事法律行为有效：
行为人具有相应的民事行为能力；
意思表示真实；
不违反法律、行政法规的强制性规定，不违背公序良俗。
