控股公司与上市公司之间不存在必然的关系。上市公司也可以是其他公司的控股公司，控股公司是指通过持有公司50%以上股权，或者以其他方式控制公司股东会、董事会表决权的公司。上市公司是指其股票经，中国证监会批准，在证券交易所上市交易的股份有限公司，所以控股公司不一定就是控股公司。

《中华人民共和国公司法》 第一百二十条 本法所称上市公司，是指其股票在证券交易所上市交易的股份有限公司。
