做伪证会构成犯罪吗

法律分析：作伪证会构成犯罪。在审判实践中，一些证人由于法律意识淡薄，对出庭作证的严肃性认识不够，出现证人作伪证、假证等现象，不同程度影响了案件的公正审理。证人证言是法院认定案件事实、准确适用法律、公正裁判的重要证据。
法律依据：《刑法》第三百零五条，在刑事诉讼中，证人、鉴定人、记录人、翻译人对与案件有重要关系的情节，故意作虚假证明、鉴定、记录、翻译，意图陷害他人或者隐匿罪证的，处三年以下有期徒刑或者拘役；情节严重的，处三年以上七年以下有期徒刑。
