控告和控诉的区别是什么

控告与控诉的区别在于：控诉的对象是对已经发生法律效力的判决、裁定或者调解，而控告的对象是犯罪事实或者犯罪嫌疑人；控诉是一种补救措施，只发生在判决结果生效以后，而控告的目的在于要求依法予以惩处的行为，控告发生在判决以前。
