释义	法律分析：合同的有效期限就是这份合同生效和废止的时间长度。一般会在合同中明确约定合同自某时开始至某时截止或者至签字之日起到某时截止，还有约定是某个事项完成之日截止，没有明确的时间限定。有些合同虽然约定了有效期限，但有未完成事宜的，合同中的权利义务项不受合同有效期限的限制(一般要在合同中约定)。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第五百七十八条规定：当事人一方明确表示或者以自己的行为表明不履行合同义务的，对方可以在履行期限届满前请求其承担违约责任。
