释义
法律分析：
除非孩子继承父亲的遗产，否则孩子没有替父亲偿还债务的义务。在孩子继承了父亲的遗产的情况下，孩子需要替父亲偿还债务，但也不是偿还全部的债务，仅以继承的遗产的实际价值为限来承担债务的偿还责任，超过遗产实际价值部分可以不承担。
法律依据：
《中华人民共和国民法典》 第一千一百六十一条 继承人以所得遗产实际价值为限清偿被继承人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务。 超过遗产实际价值部分 继承人自愿偿还的不在此限。继 承人放弃继承的，对被继承人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务可以不负清债责任。
