释义	在现实生活中，有的男女结婚后不久，一方猝然死亡，他方要求继承遗产。遇到这种情况，就要坚持继承法确定的原则，首先肯定生存配偶有继承权，死者的其他亲属无权干涉。结婚时间的长短，既不影响婚姻的合法性，也不会导致丧失配偶的继承权。但在具体分配遗产时，应从实际情况出发，综合考虑死者的继承人的各种情况，如父母没有劳动能力，靠死者供养的，应当多分配给父母一些遗产，以照顾死者父母生活上的需要，不要简单地适用各继承人平等分配遗产份额的原则规定。
