释义	法律分析：原告不是必须出庭。涉及婚姻的官司原告必须到庭，其他的民事诉讼，可以委托代理人到庭参加诉讼。原告无理由拒不到庭，按撤诉处理；被告无理由拒不到庭，按缺席判决。一般有以下情况，原告可以不出庭：(1)原告不能表达意志；(2)原告因身患重病、自然灾害等客观原因无法出庭，并提交了书面意见。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民事诉讼法》第四十九条当事人有权委托代理人，提出回避申请，收集、提供证据，进行辩论，请求调解，提起上诉，申请执行。
