旷工属于严重的劳动违纪的行为，很多用人单位的劳动制度都会对旷工做处罚规定，严重者会被开除。
法律依据:
《企业应具备规范的考勤制度》 用人单位应当将考勤制度与职工协商制定，经过民主讨论规定，并将考勤制度公示、下发，明确告知劳动者考勤的方式及与之配套的奖惩制度。律师建议用人单位将考勤制度作为劳动合同的附件，在签订书面劳动合同时即与劳动者协商，经劳动者签收确认或者将含有考勤制度的员工手册交由劳动者签收确认。
