释义	抵押权的行使是有时效的。《民法典》第四百一十九条规定：“抵押权人应当在主债权诉讼时效期间行使抵押权；未行使的，人民法院不予保护。”抵押权人应当在主债权诉讼时效期间，来行使抵押权，在此期间没有行使的，人民法院应当不予保护，也就是说抵押权行使的时效是跟主债权的诉讼时效是一致的，当事人必须在主债权的诉讼时效期间内行使抵押权，未在这个时间行使抵押权的，人民法院就不保护抵押权了。法律依据《民法典》第四百一十条、第四百一十九条
