释义	公诉案件，是指由各级检察机关依照法律相关规定，代表国家追究被告人的刑事责任而提起诉讼的案件。公诉案件是指除了自诉以外的所有的刑事案件，人民法院直接受理的自诉案件包括：(一)告诉才处理的案件;(二)被害人有证据证明的轻微刑事案件;(三)被害人有证据证明对被告人侵犯自己人身，财产权利的行为应当依法追究刑事责任，而公安机关或者人民检察院不予追究被告人刑事责任的案件。【法律依据】《中华人民共和国刑事诉讼法》第一百三十六条，凡需要提起公诉的案件，一律由人民检察院审查决定。
