释义	租房气味大，如果已经严重影响使用了，或者这个气味危及到承租人的健康了，则承租人可以要求解除租赁合同退房；如果没有危及到承租人的健康，或者没有严重到影响使用的，是不可以退房的，否则属于违约，需要承担违约责任。【法律依据】《民法典》第七百三十一条，租赁物危及承租人的安全或者健康的，即使承租人订立合同时明知该租赁物质量不合格，承租人仍然可以随时解除合同。
