借贷是否父债子还

法律分析：一、 父亲在世，因为借贷而产生的个人债务，应当由其以个人财产来予以偿还，儿子不需要承担清偿责任;
二、父亲去世，儿子继承了父亲的遗产的，则儿子需要在继承遗产的实际范围之内偿还父亲的债务;
三、父亲去世，儿子没有继承父亲的遗产的，则儿子不需要偿还父亲的债务。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》 第一千一百五十九条 分割遗产，应当清偿被继承人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务:但是，应当为缺乏劳动能力又没有生活来源的继承人保留必要的遗产。
