在外地中考可以回户籍地上高中吗

法律分析：
异地上初中中考在绝大部分城市，不允许外地户籍的孩子参加中考，即使有些城市允许，也只能报考职业高中、技校等限制要求。如果要回去考，到当地的中学要求建立学习档案，档案建立后可以参加当地中考。

《中华人民共和国教育法》 第二十一条 国家实行国家教育考试制度。 国家教育考试由国务院教育行政部门确定种类，并由国家批准的实施教育考试的机构承办。
