释义	法律分析：从重，是指在刑法规定的法定刑的限度内判处较重的刑罚。适用于犯罪嫌疑人具有从重处罚情节的情形。比如刑法第65条第1款规定的累犯就是从重处罚情节。与之相反的就是从轻处罚。加重处罚是指数罪并罚时，可以在所判数刑中的最高刑期以上，并可以超过有期徒刑、拘役、管制的一般法定最高限度执行刑期。法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑法》第六十二条犯罪分子具有本法规定的从重处罚、从轻处罚情节的，应当在法定刑的限度以内判处刑罚。
