问题	如何认定借款人将抵押物重复抵押的效力
释义	借款人在已经设定抵押的抵押物上重复抵押并非没有意义，而是有其利益取舍的考虑，主要体现在：抵押物的价值并不是固定不变的，它会随市场行情的变化而发生变化，如已经抵押的房产可能升值，也可能贬值，所以抵押权实现时的价值未必等同于抵押权设定时的价值，如果后一顺序的债权人看好抵押物的升值趋势，完全可以接受已经设定过抵押的抵押物。另外，由抵押物担保的债权未必都需要由抵押物拍卖或者变卖来获得清偿，如果前一债权通过正常履行清偿，则后一债权可以获得抵押物的抵押价值。法律依据《民法典》第四百一十四条
