双重国籍在中国违法吗

法律分析：双重国籍在中国不是违法行为。但是我国是不承认双重国籍的，如果中国公民自愿加入或者取得了外国国籍的，那么其中国国籍自动丧失。有一些国家事实上是承认双重国籍的，例如加拿大、俄罗斯、美国、澳大利亚、波兰、法国、德国、爱尔兰、奥地利等国家都是承认双重国籍的。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国国籍法》第三条 中华人民共和国不承认中国公民具有双重国籍。
第九条 定居外国的中国公民，自愿加入或取得外国国籍的，即自动丧失中国国籍。
