为什么判处死刑了还要剥夺政治权利终身

法律分析：对判处死刑的犯罪嫌疑人，防止他们假释后利用政治权利，再次从事犯罪活动。对危害国家安全和严重破坏社会秩序的犯罪嫌疑人，对一些严重的犯罪嫌疑人，防止其他人代替其行使某些政治权利。对于不服从国家制度、社会秩序的犯罪嫌疑人，国家可以依法剥夺他们从事政治活动。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑法》 第五十七条 对于被判处死刑、无期徒刑的犯罪分子，应当剥夺政治权利终身。在死刑缓期执行减为有期徒刑或者无期徒刑减为有期徒刑的时候，应当把附加剥夺政治权利的期限改为三年以上十年以下。
