释义	法律分析：根据法律规定，家属是可以给被羁押人员通信的，被羁押人员也可以给家属写信，只是都不能涉及案件的内容。但实践中，笔者去过很多地方的看守所，部分地方的看守所不让写信，部分地方的看守所可以写信。法律依据：《中华人民共和国看守所条例实施办法》第三十四条人犯与其居住在境内的近亲属通信，须经办案机关同意，要求会见的须经县级以上公安机关或者国家安全机关的主管局、处长批准。
