释义	法律分析: 监狱制度，又称矫正制度、狱政制度、行刑制度。是为执行剥夺自由刑的犯人建立的制度。广义的监狱制度是指与执行剥夺自由刑有关的一切方法和制度，如监狱内的监禁，戒护、教育、感化、劳动、生活卫生、医疗、赏罚等；狭义的监狱制度仅仅指监禁和监护制度。法律依据: 《中华人民共和国监狱法》第一条为了正确执行刑罚，惩罚和改造罪犯，预防和减少犯罪，根据宪法，制定本法。第三条监狱对罪犯实行惩罚和改造相结合、教育和劳动相结合的原则，将罪犯改造成为守法公民。
