释义	除了债务属于夫妻共同债务；以及妻子在丈夫死后继承了丈夫遗产的情况之外，其他任何情况下丈夫欠下的债务妻子都不需要偿还。其中对于妻子继承了丈夫遗产的情况，妻子也仅需要以继承遗产的价值为限承担债务偿还责任。【法律依据】《民法典》第一千一百六十一条，继承人以所得遗产实际价值为限清偿被继承人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务。超过遗产实际价值部分，继承人自愿偿还的不在此限。继承人放弃继承的，对被继承人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务可以不负清偿责任。
