释义	法律分析：学生要求休学，必须由本人书面申请（提供相应的证明材料等），所在学院提出意见，报教务处审批。休学原则上在每学期开学后第一周内办理，休学以一年为期。学生有下列情况之一者，应予休学： 1、学生因伤、病经医院诊断，须停课治疗、休养占一学期总学时1/3以上者。 2、根据考勤，一学期因病请假而累计缺课超过该学期总学时1/3以上者。 3、因某种特殊疾病原因，学校认为必须休学者。 4、在允许修业年限内，学生休学一般以一年为期，特殊情况经学校批准可适当延长，但累计不得超过两年。
