释义	一般是有效的，取决于借条约定的履行时间。借贷纠纷的诉讼时效应该从知道对方不履行还款义务开始起计算诉讼时效，也就是欠条约定的还款时间，如没有约定还款时间，随时可以起诉。如果约定了履行期限，从不履行债务其计算三年。诉讼时效期间自权利人知道或者应当知道权利受到损害以及义务人之日起计算。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第一百八十八条向人民法院请求保护民事权利的诉讼时效期间为三年。法律另有规定的，依照其规定。
