释义	法律分析：公安部没有统一的要求，都是各地公安机关根据当地的实际情况，自己决定保留时间的。目前的情况是：如果是没有与公安机关联网的小旅店，其纸质登记的开房记录，至少保留 3 年以上，随时备查；如果与公安机关联网的宾馆，开房记录是一直保存在数据库里面的。法律依据：《旅馆业治安管理办法》第六条旅馆接待旅客住宿必须登记。登记时，应当查验旅客的身份证件，按规定的项目如实登记。接待境外旅客住宿，还应当在24小时内向当地公安机关报送住宿登记表。
