释义	赡养父母是子女应尽的法定义务，尽管老人有财产，但是并不妨碍在生活困难时要求子女履行赡养义务。该赡养义务不仅仅是子女在经济上为父母提供必要的生活用品和费用，在生活上、精神上、感情上对父母亦应尊敬、关心和照顾。在判决中，会视父母和子女各自的情况酌定赡养费数额。【本文关联的相关法律依据】《老年人权益保障法》第十九条：赡养人不得以放弃继承权或者其他理由，拒绝履行赡养义务。赡养人不履行赡养义务，老年人有要求赡养人付给赡养费等权利。赡养人不得要求老年人承担力不能及的劳动。
