释义	法律分析：不能，休学只能在中考前一学期办手续。休学的条件：1.因伤、因病经指定医院和校医院诊断，需停课治疗、休养时间超过一学期上课时间三分之一以上者； 2.因事请假、缺课超过一学期上课时间三分之一以上者； 3.因其他特殊原因，本人申请或学校认为必须休学者。法律依据：《普通高等学校学生管理规定》第二十三条：学生申请休学或者学校认为应当休学者，由学校批准，可以休学。休学次数和期限由学校规定。
