释义	法律分析：农村村民一户只能拥有一处宅基地，其宅基地的面积不得超过省、自治区、直辖市规定的标准。农村村民出卖、出租住房后，再申请宅基地的，不予批准。农村村民因继承等原因形成一户拥有二处以上宅基地的，多余的住宅应当转让。受让住宅的村民必须符合申请宅基地的条件，并依照本办法的规定办理宅基地审批手续。可见，我国法律虽然原则上规定一户只能拥有一处宅基地，但是考虑到继承等原因造成的宅基地拥有量不均衡的现状，还是有条件的认可宅基地的转让的。
